The 2N EasyGate Lift unit is designed for effortless Plug & Play installation. Simply connect it to a power source and use the included cable to link your lift autodialer-no complex setup required. For telephone service, you can choose between VoIP, a SIM card, or a combination of both for maximum flexibility.
The EasyGate Lift is compatible with all four major UK mobile networks-Vodafone, O2, EE, and Three giving you multiple SIM options. We recommend positioning the unit as high as possible, avoiding installation on the lift car itself. However, the unit does come with a magnetic antenna with a long lead, allowing you to test it in different locations.
Using a multi-network SIM
The EasyGate itself does not control multi-network switching; it simply accepts whichever network the SIM connects to. This means the EasyGate will register on the network permitted by the SIM, but it cannot "force switch” between networks on its own. Please also note that if you would like us to monitor the unit for you, the SIM will need to have data enabled. Click here for multi-network SIM cards
Each EasyGate IP unit, VoIP service, and SIM card undergo rigorous testing before shipping, ensuring it’s ready for immediate use. To enhance security, call barring is automatically enabled, blocking international calls, premium-rate numbers, personal numbers, and UK special service numbers starting with 084 and 087. You can also choose to block calls to mobile numbers, though premium-rate number barring cannot be removed.
Battery Backup Included - The GSM gateway includes a battery backup that provides enough power for up to one hour on standby and a minimum of 15 minutes of talk time. The internal backup battery complies with EN 81-28 and AS 1735 standards.
In bench tests, the battery has been shown to provide over 4/5 hours of backup.

Please note:
Although the unit is essentially plug and play, we’re increasingly finding that some lift maintenance providers are either refusing to install third-party units or quoting extremely high fees to do so. Unfortunately, this is often because they prefer to supply their own equipment, which ties customers into long-term contracts and ongoing SIM rental charges.
With that in mind, it may be wise to speak with your lift maintenance company first to see where they stand on installing a third-party unit like the EasyGate. This can help avoid any unexpected issues or additional costs down the line
The power lead is ready to be connected to a permanent power supply. If you are connecting it to a 13A mains socket, a 13A plug will need to be fitted (not supplied).
